How long from Sydney to Morton National Park?
Allow roughly 2–2.5+ hours by car depending on traffic and which precinct you aim for (Fitzroy Falls / Bundanoon via Southern Highlands vs Pigeon House via Milton–Ulladulla). Roughly 140–170 km south-southwest of Sydney. Build buffer for weekend traffic and parking. Most first-timers from the Southern Highlands start at Fitzroy Falls: visitor centre, formed lookouts and optional short West Rim style walking. Keep it to a half-day unless the group is fit. Do not stack Belmore Falls, full Bundanoon tracks and Pigeon House (Didthul) onto a late multi-region start.
Can I camp in Morton National Park?
Yes at official NPWS campgrounds such as Gambells Rest (Bundanoon precinct) when available. Book only via the official NPWS system (or 1300 072 757). Remote / walk-in sites also exist — [VERIFY] current list. This site never affiliates official camping bookings.
